Last Friday and Saturday I took part in a research workshop at Pines Calyx on the Dover coast (which is beautiful). A fantastic experience with some really amazing people! The workshop looked into what the organisers at Goldsmiths call ‘Metadesign’ which Attainable Utopias define here.
I won’t write too much about the research itself, but it was amazing to see what can be achieved when people come into a situation with open minds, and when everyone is equal. I learnt a lot over the two days, but one of the main things I took away from the event was to think about processes as much as (if not more) than outcomes.
